Reggie Jack Painting

West Paris Public Library is proud to present an Art Exhibition by Reginald “Reggie” Jack
"The Love of Painting and Sharing It With Others"
Reginald “Reggie”, Jack was born in 1930 in Buckfield, Maine. His passion for art began when he was a young boy. His mother was a school teacher and among many subjects she taught, one of them was art. She would bring her work home which inspired him to start drawing and painting. Reggie has had many commissioned pieces of art. Locally, Norway Savings Bank Corporate Offices, had 20 or so pieces on display. Reggie has held a variety of jobs throughout his life. He worked at a hotel in Old Orchard Beach, for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, and as a restaurant manager for Goodwin’s Dairy. Reggie served in the military for four years as a high speed radio operator during the Korean War. He was tasked with sending messages via Morse code. Reggie married his wife, Helen, in 1981 and they raised 5 children. Reggie has continued his passion for painting at Market Square. He paints every chance he gets. He just enjoys doing what he loves and sharing that with others.
Items included in this exhibit span from 1948 through the present.

On exhibit at West Paris Library, April 15-June 28, 2024
